hello , my name is Kevin .i have been a life long resident of bristol , tn . born and raised in the country . i spent most of my childhood and younger years hunting , fishing , and working in gardens and on the various farms that were in our community . i now am a mechanical contractor superintendant , i have been in the construction feild since 1994 . i have 2 beautiful children raven and tyler , and i am married to my wife angie . although i still enjoy hunting and fishing , and sharing the outdoors with my children , it only stands in the shadows of the LOVE for my LORD and SAVIOR , JESUS CHRIST , and the telling of his good news and what he has done for me . i have been saved since jan 14th , 2006 , just 2 days after my 34th b-day . i have always known that there was a GOD ,or higher power , but never saw the need for many years . my mother is a born again child of GOD , and had told me of his love for many years , but i still never saw the need in my life . at the age of 20 , i was sitting in a church under conviction but passed at the chance to change my life . i thought to myself if i get in my car and drive ,wreck and die i'll go to hell . you know the preacher came running across the pulpit screaming quit singing to the choir . i'll never forget , they were singing oh lamb of GOD i come . he said i dont know why i am saying this but GOD told me to. if you leave unsaved , drive down the road and wreck and die , you'll go to hell . well i left anyway , thank GOD for his mercy , it will endure forever . 14 years later , i came home from atlanta motor speedway . i had been there for 3 months rebuilding after a series of tornados had torn thru the place . i came home and found total destruction . my wife angie had been up 19 days straight speedballing on downers and meth . she was out of her mind . well 3 days later she really lost it , i found out what i needed to know and took action . began taking care of things such as bills , money and most of all the children , bless their hearts they were in despair . well 3 days from that she decided that she and the kids were leaving , but the children wouldnt go . she acused me of turning them against her, packed her bags called someone and to the side of the road she went . for the first time in my life i was in a position i couldnt handle . i was always in control , or thought i was , never needed any help and up until this point never needed any GOD , because of prior things in my life that old satan used in his corner very well . well , here i was with a wife on the street , leaving with some drug dealer , and me in total loss , with my 4 yr old girl in my hands in front of the tv . i remember very well what i said as tears were flowing from my eyes , wondering what i was going to do .

not a minute later the phone rang . this lady said kevin , whats wrong . i replied nothing . she said this is tammy , whats wrong . i replied , lady i dont know you and nothing is wrong . she replied , are you sure you just asked GOD to help you .
i knew then where my help comes from , she came and got my wife , took her home and cleaned her up , only to return to the house 2 weeks later . at this point i told her of the goings on that had occurred , and told her also we need to seek GOD . during the next 2 months , GOD showed me where to go to find him , told me who to listen to , and where to repent . his mercy endureth forever . after going to church during the month of dec. and setting in a pugh with my hand raised wanting to be saved , the chains were broken so that i could make my way to an altar of repentance and accept the LORD JESUS as my SAVIOR .
